Newsham accepts grid penalty

British Touring Car frontrunner Dave Newsham will start fifth for the first race at Silverstone after not appealing his grid penalty. Newsham's ES Racing Vauxhall Vectra had set a time good enough for second, but had run off the track at Copse. The time was disallowed , dropping Newsham to fifth.
