Williams wants Maldonado podium
Williams will be satisfied with a podium finish for Pastor Maldonado in the Singapore Grand Prix, as team officials said it could afford to take more risks against the main title contenders. Maldonado delivered a strong lap to secure a place on the front row and will start between Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel. Although Maldonado knows his closest rivals need to be wary about their championship hopes, Williams chief operations engineer Mark Gillan says that his outfit needs to be equally mindful of its own position
