Power fastest in morning practice

Will Power set the fastest time in Saturday's third IndyCar practice session in Long Beach. On a morning peppered with several red flag interruptions, Power managed to make the most of the available time under greens to post a best lap of 1m10.7553s, putting him just 0.0170 seconds clear of Andretti Autosport's Ryan Hunter-Reay. Power's Penske team-mate Helio Castroneves was third-fastest, but also triggered one of the reds when he caught too much of the kerb on the inside of Turn 5 and was pitched into the wall.
